Catch 22 are working with a national healthcare provider based near Liverpool who are seeking a CAFM Manager to take full responsibility for the maintenance and management of the CAFM system from implementation to delivery.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of managing projects from within a facilities and estates department and will provide specialist support in managing maintenance and facilities related activities. The ideal applicant will demonstrate excellent knowledge of managing IT systems, be able to work in collaboration with a variety of facilities teams and have an excellent ability to develop effective work systems.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management expertise and advice within the Estates and Facilities department in relation to maintenance activities
  • Have direct responsibility for a number of projects, for the full lifecycle from initiation to project closure
  • To analyse and evaluate many highly complex and diverse conflicting issues associated with the completion of a project
  • Work in collaboration with the Helpdesk Co-ordinator to develop and introduce effectives communications arrangements that facilitate feedback to maintenance staff
  • Monitor and manage delivery against these targets and produce regular management update reports detailing performance levels
  • Line management responsibility for a team of staff including training and appraisals
  • Advise relevant estates and facilities managers on any CAFM related service risk, both in its use and/or data contained
  • Assist the Estates, Facilities hard and soft functions in the monitoring, planning and scheduling of both planned preventative maintenance and reactive workloads for both in house staff and contractors

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hold relevant training in Project Management, Prince2 would be preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of working with CAFM systems is essential
  • Be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of working within a maintenance or facilities management environment and understand PPM management
  • Experience of budgetary control, maximising staff and physical resources
  • Hold previous experience working within a large commercial buildings, ideally within healthcare sector
  • Experience off affecting change in an organisation with no direct line management responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills and Ability to delivery presentations to a large audience
  • Have excellent people management skills. Previous roles could include being a team leader, supervisor or manager

  • Permanent contract on 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
