We are currently seeking a CHPP Co-Ordinator to join our Clarence Team
About the Job
To manage all aspects of the Clarence CHPP project to ensure compliance with legislative responsibilities to workers, contractors, customers and the general public whilst meeting production targets.
- Compliance with & a demonstrated commitment to Qube and Centennial’s Clarence CHPP site, Health & Safety Management Systems
- Demonstrate work health and safety leadership at all times whilst providing a consultative approach to health and safety matters
- Ensure all incidents & near misses are reported into the Centennial Health & Safety Management System & entered into STEMS
- Adequately investigate all incidents & near misses providing corrective actions to eliminate a reoccurrence
- Ensure identified hazards are reported & entered into the Centennial Health & Safety Management System & appropriate actions are taken to control or eliminate the hazard to maintain a safe work environment
- Establish & maintain effective communication and relationships with the client, Qube employees, contractors and other stakeholders
- Facilitate & participate in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) in consultation with other team members where required
- Develop the Qube CHPP production, maintenance & train loading plans in consultation with the Clarence CHPP Management Team
About You
Essential
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
- Current Order 43 Health Assessment.
- Trade Qualifications.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Supervisor Training, RIIRIS301, RIIOHS301, RIICOM301 (known as S1, S2 & S3).
- Minimum of 12 Months experience in a CHPP Production Supervisor or Superintendent role.
- General Coal Preparation Course
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel & Project).
- Literacy and numeracy skills for report writing.
Desirable
- Advanced Coal Preparation Course.
- RIIRIS402 (G2)
- Training in Incident Investigation.
