Full Job Description

CMC Scientist (FTC Until April 2025) On-Site – Ceredigion £25,700 + Bonus Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
  
To perform general duties and project work within the analytical development department in support of development, commercial and lifecycle management activities for the pharma business unit.
  
Principle Responsibilities

Support the development and validation of analytical techniques for manufacturing and commercial activities of new and established biological products.
Support the characterization of new and established products as part of lifecycle management projects.
Write development, validation, and technical reports.
Transfer suitable methods and processes to other departments/locations as required.
Perform routine duties as required in the laboratory including equipment maintenance and housekeeping in order to ensure the timely generation of accurate data and information.
Ensure all activities follow standard operating procedures, protocols, or sound scientific practice and, where appropriate, are performed in compliance with GxP.
Review peer documents and provide technical critique.
Keep up to date with industry standards and ensure work is conducted accordingly.
Be competent in running analytical processes independently as required.
Communicate with 3rd parties providing technical input.
Ensuring that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with company values.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the Line Manager. Education and Experience
Education:

Educated to degree level in an appropriate scientific discipline with experience in a biopharmaceutical or closely related industry preferable. Experience:

Experience in a similar laboratory environment desirable. Skills and Attributes
