We are we are working with a leading development and training organisation to find an excellent CMS Specialist.
As the CMS specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for Content Management Systems, managing daily operations, boosting user engagement, and guiding ongoing CMS development. Your emphasis on user-centric design ensures our systems evolve to meet organisational and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administration of CMS platforms
- Lead technical projects and support continuous development initiatives
- Assist with the maintenance and development of CMS integrations
- Analyse user journeys and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Drive user engagement through training and support materials
- Review and deliver continuous training to staff on CMS usage and adoption
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for CMS management
- Ensure compliance with data protection legislation
- Provide technical support and manage relationships with CMS suppliers
- Support team members in CMS knowledge and understanding
- Collaborate on other projects within the DDaT team as needed
Person Specification: Essential Skills:
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Solution-oriented with strong communication skills
- Experience with CMS administration and user management (Umbraco, Wordpress, Drupal and experience of bespoke solutions)
- Good understanding of digital platform maintenance principles
- Ability to gather and understand business and user needs
- Experience in planning and delivering training sessions
- Proficiency in writing technical and process documentation
- Analytical skills for web analytics data interpretation
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
- Experience in a digital development environment
- Supportive of a learning organisation culture
- Demonstrates a knowledge and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
