Manpower is
currently looking for CNC Laser Operator (Kimla Fiber Lasers) to
start work ASAP for our successful manufacturing client based in
Pocklington.
We are looking for candidates with experience
working on Kimla Laser or any other CNC Laser machines.
A
Laser Operator required for sheet metal and fabrication of parts to a
high standard. The role may also require from time to time to help
with production items when required i.e.; press brakes.
Key Accountability: Setting and Operating of
Laser Machine
Main Duties:
Working
with various materials such as Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless
Steel, ensuring that materials are checked for size, thickness and
grade.
Setting and operating the Laser - Loading and
unloading sheet materials and cut parts
Nesting using PcCam
Plus Software (KIMLA LASER)
Interpreting Drawings and
Checking Parts, ensuring standards are met
Working off Bill
of Materials (BOM)
Deburtting Parts after cutting
Sorting cut parts by job and materials. Routing parts and completing
required documentation
Ensure quality of parts and check
against drawings
Carry out General Maintenance of
Machines
Inform the Workshop Manager when materials are
running low
Provide help with production items such as
operating the Press Brake
Adhere to and Maintain Health &
Safety requirements and standards
