Position : CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
Location : Keighley, West Yorkshire
Salary : Up to £16.86 per hour
Hours : Day Shift with Flexible Start Time between 7am - 9am, Early Finish on Fridays

Our client are a leading engineering company based in Keighley, renowned for their precision manufacturing and commitment to quality. They specialize in producing high-quality components for a range of industries, and they're looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to join their team.

The Role

As a CNC Turner Programmer/Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls. You will be tasked with programming from engineering drawings, ensuring the accurate production of components to meet customer specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for quality control, tooling, and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set, and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Produce high-quality components in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Maintain and care for machinery, including tooling and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in CNC Turning with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls.
  • Ability to program from engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements.
