About The Role

Brand New Role – Warwick or London - Permanent

Great Britain's electricity infrastructure is undergoing an ambitious, exciting and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.

As a key part of the Commercial, Regulation and Supply Chain team, within our Strategic Infrastructure business, you will be crucial in coordinating our plan and the teams activities as we provide support the effective delivery of these critical projects.
You will work with a range of stakeholders including senior leaders in the business to help plan, monitor and coordinate the work needed to keep us on track with delivering key commercial, regulatory and supply chain objectives. You will ensure our team understand where our workplan is in the delivery process and you will proactively drive us to deliver it. You will also need be able to horizon scan to identify risk and help our teams respond by implementing mitigating actions.
A key part of the role will also be ensuring that structures are in place to drive consistency and quality standards the delivery of our work, which will be especially crucial when reporting externally. 
The role has huge scope and potential and you will be joining a growing team in a crucial part of our business. 

This role is based at our Warwick office which has free onsite parking or London, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home. 

Leveraging this hybrid working , this team current work typically 1 –2 days per week in the office, which is dependent on personal and business needs.

•    Experience of working within PMO within large projects or programmes ideally within the Energy Sector or other regulated environments.
•   Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•   An eye for detail with the ability to multi-task with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Adaptable to change and confidence when working both independently and as part of a team

What You'll Do

Primarily you will be:

•    Planning activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing and ensuring ownership of actions and deliverables is clear across the team members. This includes taking ownership of delivering relevant actions.
•   Supporting with creating draft reports, meeting logistics, workshop content and drafting meeting notes in support of the senior leaders in the business unit. This includes capturing outputs allocating ownership of tasks and monitoring their completion.
•    Tracking stakeholder engagement, ensuring the right people go to the right meetings, are aware of key messages and are reviewing the right deliverables.

Additionally you will be:

•   Collaborating within our team and across other PMO and Portfolio teams to define, prioritize, and develop workplans to support us in achieving our objectives.
•    Providing a first line review of relevant outputs and driving consistency and ensuring quality standards are upheld within the team 
•    Drafting new and improving existing team policies and processes. This includes, identifying and implementing any digitisation opportunities. 
•   Monitoring and tracking issues across project delivery teams.
 

What You'll Get

A competitive starting salary between £50,000 – £60,000 dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
