Full Job Description

Cabinet Maker
Location: Woodchester, Stroud
Salary: 11.50 - 12.50 per hour DOE

Hours: 40 hours p/week. Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 16:30 Friday 7:00 - 11:00

Our client is looking for a passionate individual who enjoys wood working, or being hands on with the products they produce.

You will be working in their assembly department. This will include full training and development, as they like to provide their employees with support to progress internally.

A basic understanding of machinery used within a wood working sector would be ideal.

Our client produces projects for trade and they are well known for producing bespoke kitchens and interiors, allowing them to produce high quality cabinetry for any room.

The responsibilities of the cabinet maker:

  • Using a table saw,track saws andSpindle Moulders.
  • Be hands on with using routers, drills, and Lamello.
  • Work with the Domino Machines.
  • Read specifications to help produce the right sizes for the cabinets.
  • Produce carcasses and shelving.
  • Attaching the frames.
  • Levelling units, hinges and hanging doors.
  • Correctly fit drawers.

Requirements needed for the Cabinet Maker:

  • Enthusiastic individual who is willing to learn and progress in the world of wood work and cabinet making for bespoke kitchens.
  • Some experience with wood working, whether it be a college course completed, a hobby, a side job or something you are thoroughly interested in!
  • An understanding of reading requirements and instructions in order to put things together.
  • A logical mindset to help you process the instructions and requirements.
