Come and join our fantastic team of Care Assistants at Home Instead, we are now recruiting to meet the increase in demand for our services and have  changed the way we work to benefit our care professionals.

We are now looking to recruit care assistants who are looking for guaranteed and secure hours each week and are offering 20 or 30 hours per week 'average hour contracts'. This means that our staff are paid each month for the contracted hours and any adjustments necessary can be made the following month.

For those  care assistants who prefer to be paid an hourly rate then we are happy to continue to pay you by your preferred method.

Our care professionals provide personal care (washing & dressing) home help duties (light housework) and companionship to our elderly clients residing locally, so you will need a car to get from client to client.

We offer our care professionals:

* 20 or 30 'average hours contracts, ensuring you are paid the same each month.

* Salary of £17,550 per annum based on average 130 hours worked each month.

* Hourly rates including travel & mileage averaging £13.00 per hour worked.

* Mileage allowance of £0.30pence per mile travelled between clients (sometimes       from home)

* Paid holiday.

* All training paid after assessment.

* Minimum 1 hour visits to each client.

* Continuous professional development.

We do require all of our staff members to have their own car and this is because we visit clients in their own homes and travel between clients each day worked.

We also require that all staff work their standard hours on alternate weekends.
