Care Supervisor - Lemongrove Gardens

As a Care Supervisor, you will ensure the physical comfort and emotional well-being of our aged care residents by leading a team of Carers. The Care Supervisor will ensure residents receive the highest level of care by coaching and mentoring their team and planning tasks in accordance to their team members individual strengths and needs.

Key accountabilities include (not limited to):

• Ensures that team members know how to apply the techniques and processes that contribute to the emotional wellbeing of the residents;

• Contributes to the development of care plans and the funding process by ensuring that team members document information as required and by being involved in case conferences to develop/ amend the plans; and

• Contributes to the operation of the shift by working cooperatively with all the other Residential care staff and ensuring information is effectively communicated across shifts through handover, case conferences and team meetings.

Skills, knowledge and experience needed:

• Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent - essential

• Minimum 12 months experience with Anglicare - desirable

• Commitment to Anglicare’s vision, mission and values

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
