Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Our 3-year Offshore Engineering Graduate Programme offers a unique opportunity to accelerate your career and support your development into a truly well-rounded marketing professional.

We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in live projects within high-profile assignments across Engineering.  You will be involved in the operation, planning and management, and optimising performance of our assets. You will get first-hand experience in technical engineering, projects, operations, and we will introduce you to real life process engineering and process safety.

You can look forward to a mix of on-the-job learning, training modules and project work.

Year 1 – You will be office-based working with the Operations and Maintenance Support team. You will also complete offshore training, visit our assets and start additional training and qualifications (please see below).

Year 2 – You will complete 10 trips offshore, spending 2 weeks offshore with a further 3-week rest period at home (This is your down time). The first 6 months will follow the role of an Operations Team Leader, the remaining 6 months will focus on the role of a Maintenance Supervisor and Planner.

Year 3 – You will spend more time offshore, and we will provide you the opportunity to follow a specific role shadowing an Asset based senior manager.

By the end of the 3-year programme, you will have achieved following;

  • Practical offshore experience – including the completion of your BOSIET/ MIST Training enabling you go offshore for 4 years

  • IOSH Managing Safety certificate

  • Completion of our internal Major Accident Hazards Awareness course

  • Stage 3 OPITO Certificate in Petroleum Processing Technology, accredited by City & Guilds

  • APM Project Fundamentals certificate

  • Root Cause Analysis certificate

  • ‘Aspire to Manager’ programme – A 8-week line manager training course

  • MOME training – Management of major offshore emergencies

Throughout the programme, you will be provided with an unparalleled level of support with access to buddies, mentors, and experienced line managers, as well as having a ready-made network of graduates across the business to tap into.

We have a few must-haves:

  • Engineering degree or minimum of HNC

  • Interest in, and demonstrable desire to progress a STEM career; resilience, attention to detail, ability to analyse data, ability to prioritise tasks, able to work under stressful situations and able to get along with different types of people

  • A passionate and creative Engineer who can deliver solutions within tight timeframes and implement them safely and successfully

  • Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)

  • Willingness to relocate within the UK to make the most of the opportunities we offer

  • In the office a minimum of 2 days a week

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • Available to start your graduate programme on 1st October 2024
