Ceramics and Pottery Teacher - Part
Time (0.4), 8:30 - 3:30 Term Time. ASAP start.
Are you a passionate and experienced Ceramics & Pottery
Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to inspire young minds? We
are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and make a
positive impact on the lives of students aged 12 and above with
Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Your Role:
As our Ceramics and Pottery Teacher, you will:

Deliver
engaging ceramics and pottery lessons that cater to the unique needs
and abilities of students with SEMH.
Create a safe and inclusive studio environment where students can explore their creativity and build self-confidence.
Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to help students overcome emotional hurdles and develop their artistic skills.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized plans for each student, ensuring their holistic development.
Promote a sense of achievement and pride through the creation of beautiful pottery and ceramic art pieces.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

A background in ceramics and
pottery, with a strong understanding of various techniques and
artistic processes.
Experience working with students, showcasing empathy, patience and excellent communication skills.
A dedication to fostering emotional growth, self-esteem and resilience through creative expression.
The ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the diverse learning needs of our students.
A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people facing challenges.

Candidates must be drivers due to the rural
location of the school. Candidates must also either have a
child-enhanced DBS on the update service or be happy with obtaining
one through the clearance procedure.
