Requirements of the Certified NursingAssistant (CNA)

â— Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNApreferred

â— Current CNA certification

â— Self-directing with the ability to workwith little direct supervision

â— Demonstrate effective oral and writtencommunication skills

Responsibilities of the Certified NursingAssistant (CNA)

â— Provide quality nursing care toresidents.

â— Implement specific procedures andprograms.

â— Coordinate work within the department, aswell as with other departments.

â— Report pertinent information to theimmediate supervisor.

â— Respond to inquiries or requests forinformation.

â— Assist the immediate supervisor withtasks to support department operations.
