We are working on this fantastic opportunity with our award-winning client who operate this stunning high-quality period gastro pub in York City Centre

The position offers aspiring chefs the opportunity to work within one of citys finest kitchens, utilising the finest products from Yorkshire & beyond to create a menu that is both classically gastro but also offers some modern twists and techniques

The ideal Chef will have the following attributes:

- Have experience working with fresh food, be it in Restaurant, Hotel or Gastro pub

- Ideally worked in a fresh food led kitchen, although a desire to learn is just as important here

- Be able to demonstrate at least 1 year in a similar position, no jumpy chefs here

- Have the desire & attitude to learn every day, soak up the style of service, and high standards of the kitchens, & bring a sound work ethic to the team, hard work, passion & desire are the attributes my client is looking for
