Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and strategic initiatives. The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial growth, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance in alignment with our fintech objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy:Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's goals and objectives, focusing on fintech, insurtech, regtech, and proptech sectors.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to drive informed decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
• Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, providing timely and transparent financial reporting and updates to support fundraising and investment initiatives.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Oversee risk management activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing robust internal controls in line with industry standards and best practices.
• Financial Operations: Direct day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax planning, and financial reporting, to maintain financial health and integrity.
• Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations within the fintech ecosystem to drive growth opportunities and market expansion.
• Leadership & Team Development: Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence, while promoting professional growth and development.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of success as a CFO or senior finance leader within the fintech industry, with specific experience in insurtech, regtech, and proptech sectors preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to fintech startups.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving organizational change.
• Qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly desirable, along with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
