Chief Operating Officer required for high growth DeFi (Web3) company.

Chief Operating Officer (COO) with proven experience required for a rapidly expanding DeFi (Web3) enterprise. This role demands a blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership to streamline internal processes.

The COO will be responsible for overseeing our company's ongoing operations and procedures to ensure organisational efficiency and growth.

Requirements

• Puts operation procedures in place, improves existing processes and ensures a smooth workflow, coordinating internal teams
• Collaborates with the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, and growth initiatives
• Takes ownership for operational issues and leads through to resolution
• Works closely with sales, compliance, and service teams to provide operational support to clients and optimise deal flow
• Maintains a client focused approach, engages team members in best practices, exercising sound judgement, based upon knowledge and experience, at all times
• Monitors quantity and quality of work to meet established objectives
• Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures for process improvement and efficiency
• Ensures a compliant and controlled operational environment through close collaboration with compliance, sales and delivery teams
• Provides oversight to ensure timely execution of projects and operational initiatives

• Demonstrates progressive leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
• Ability to influence at different levels without formal reporting lines
• Ability to analyse complex procedures and established processes for process improvement
• Self-motivated and decisive, capable of demonstrating leadership and credibility at a senior level
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to appropriately engage and influence change at all levels
• Able to effectively prioritise against a complex set of business demands and demonstrate delivery against multiple objectives
• Drive for innovation through transformation of process and user tools
• Thrives in high-pressure environments, excelling at prioritisation, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple demands simultaneously
• Preference for candidates with experience in Web3 or an MBA with a proven track record in the financial sector
