Children's Residential Support WorkerLiverpool
From £30,000
Job Details:
Children's Residential Support Worker
Working for a well-established organisation that specialises in support for children and young people within OFSTED-regulated care homes.
Support young people with LD.
Supporting young people aged between 8-17.
Provide therapeutic support, working towards positive outcomes for all young people
Work within a staff team of support workers, seniors, deputy managers and a registered manager
Ensure all support given meets OFSTED standards
Support children and young within the home and in the community
Arranging and taking part in activities
Managing, updating and following care plans
The home is based in Liverpool.
Pay Details:
£12 - £12.70p/h
Sleep-in rate - £62.64
Contract Details:
Full-time, permanent contract
39 hours a week
Long days
The successful candidate:
You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties
You MUST be a driver as you will be required to transport the young people from time
to time
You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and
communication skills, and an instinct to help others
You MUST be able to commute to Liverpool
