Childrens Residential Worker

Full Job Description

We are looking for Qualified Level 3 experienced Children's Residential staff in Knowsley, Merseyside.

We have work in Prescot, Huyton and Cronton.

About the service

• Children are cared for 365 days of the year within the homes.
• Our client want to give the young people the best experiences and do this by taking the young people away for extended periods of time to caravans in Wales, as well as other holiday destinations , and would like staff members to be able to share these experiences with them by supporting them on these trips

Requirements

• Experience of direct work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
• Diploma Level 3/4 Children and Young People's Workforce or recognised professional qualification in therapeutic work with young people.

Shifts

• Shifts are a mixture of 12 hour day or waking night shifts, with the occasional sleep in shift which can be 9am until 8pm or 8pm until 9.15am with a little variation across the sites. You will be contractedto 35 hours per week which equates to around 3 shifts per week and the potential for additional shifts is available.
• Rotas are completed a minimumof 4 weeks in advance and are designed to meet the needs of the young people but we can be flexible to meet the needs of our team and understand the work/family balance.
