Civil/Structural CAD Manager
Kingston
£45k-£55k

Privately owned and family run practice of specialist consulting engineers require an experienced Cad Manager to join their team.

They provide services worldwide for ports and harbour engineering and container terminals across the globe. Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous. They are a dynamic and successful team. The firm has an excellent reputation in its specialist field and has been running for many years.

You should be a confident team player with experience in areas such as reinforced concrete, steel piles and structures, bridges, wharf structures, jetties, container terminals, quay structures, heavy duty pavements and marine design (e.g breakwaters etc.) .

The position is full time at the Kingston office with the possibility of occasional short international trips, and includes medical insurance, 25 days holiday and pension in addition to basic salary.

The role will involve managing all CAD/BIM deliverables across the company's UK and international offices. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and providing guidance to junior CAD staff.

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee all CAD/BIM project deliverables using cutting-edge software
  • Develop standards and strategies to enhance efficiency
  • Guide modelling, drawing production and library management
  • Share your expertise through training and mentoring CAD technicians
  • Support estimating and business development activities
  • Travel occasionally to client sites and other company offices
