Full Job Description

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to work within a CQC rated “Good” neurological rehabilitation centre (charity) in Northeast Surrey.

About the employer:

This charity provides specialist residential care to service users with complex physical, sensory, cognitive and emotional difficulties. This service also offer rehabilitation care to those on the stroke pathway or neurological rehab pathway with the goal to help them gain independence.

Service users may be on the sub-acute stroke pathway, people following acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury, with length of stay varying from 4 weeks to 2 years.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be joining, and leading, a small Psychology team as well holding a small caseload. Clinical work will include neuropsychological assessments, formulation and intervention (inpatients and community based).

Contract type – permanent

Hours – full time, part time applicants will be considered

Salary - £50,900 - £57,300 FTE

Experience required:

Clinical Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration along with post qualification experience working with neurological conditions ideally within a rehabilitation setting.
