Clinical Psychologist - Eating Disorders
Location:  Wolverhampton
Salary:  Up to £60,000 per annum   
Hours:  Full Time and Part Time hours available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Psychologist to work within our brand new state of the art 15 Bed CAMHS Eating Disorders Hospital in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent time to join a forward thinking organisation with huge growth plans over the next 5 years. The directors have over 50 years experience in the mental health sector and are looking for a talented Clinical Psychologist to join the team. There are genuine professional development opportunities for the right candidate. This specialist eating disorder service is for young people aged 13-18 years whose needs can no longer be met in the community.  Our therapeutic approach is underpinned by the STEP Model

Job Role:

  • As well as taking on responsibility for the delivery of psychological assessment and treatment to patients admitted to the Hospital.   You will coordinate risk assessment and advise on risk management/ risk reduction strategies,  provide supervision and teaching opportunities within areas of competence and undertake relevant clinical and /or forensic research. Providing managerial, clinical/professional supervision and support to psychology assistants within the department and the team 

Are you...?

  • A Post-graduate qualified in psychology with a Registration with the HCPC and full eligibility to live and work in the UK?
  • Post-registration experience is desirable, though not essential
  • Experienced within CAMHS or Eating Disorders?
