Job Title: CNC Miller ProgrammerSetter Operator

Shift: Lates 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Rate: Up to 20p/h depending on experience

The Job:

• As a CNC Programmer Setter Operator your role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines.
• Your expertise in machine setup, and precision machining will ensure the production of high-quality parts that meet strict industry standards and specifications.
• You will work closely with engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations.
• Hurcocontrols,they will consider someone with other controls such as Fanuc and they will put the successful candidate on a Hurco training course.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience in setting up CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools.
• Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.
• CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor the machining process closely, making adjustments to tooling or machine settings as necessary to maintain precision and quality.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Hurco Controls
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Capability to identify and resolve common CNC machine issues, such as tooling problems.
• Proficiency in conducting routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance.
• Knowledge of machine calibration and alignment procedures to maintain accuracy and precision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, machining techniques, and process improvements.
• Adherence to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Knowledge of machine guarding, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
