Contek are working with a client who are a growing precision machining company on the outskirts of Northamptonshire, is looking to add a skilled CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to their team on a permanent basis.

Our client machines a variety of low volume parts for the Motorsport, F1, Automotive industries. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC Setting and Operating CNC 3 axis Millers machining components to tight tolerances and tight deadlines. Our client promotes a teamwork environment and are happy to provide further training and support to their staff. Experince with programming and 5 axis machining is advantageous, however our client training can provide training to the right candidate. This is permanent role with plenty of overtime on offer.

CNC Miller Setter Operator Job Requirements

• Experience Setting and operating CNC Millers
• Experience with 3 axis milling (Essential)
• Experience with 5 axis milling (Advantageous)
• Knowledge of Fanuc or HAAS controls is advantageous
• Knowledge ofProgramming is advantageous but not essential
• Working with complex parts and a variety of materials machining parts to tight tolerances.
• Machining one off prototype parts as well as small batch runs.
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Able to interpret engineering drawings
• Experience editing programmes is advantageous

CNC Miller Setter Operator Hours and salary

• Permanent
• Plenty of overtime paid at time and a half
• Training opportunities
• Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
• Up to 32,000-35,000 per annum with additional Overtime
