Full Job Description

An exciting opportiny has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our clients' talented team based at their head office in Lincoln. Our client is a privately owned business based in Lincoln with a reputation for delivering quality Civil Engineering projects within Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas undertaking a range of interesting and diverse projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, to support them in fulfilling their responsibilities, contributing to the overall success of the business through the provision of efficient and effective administrative support.

The Role:

* Ensure that relevant administrative tasks are dealt with efficiently.
* Perform general departmental administration tasks as and when required to meet the needs of the department.
* Manage and maintain relevant filing systems and databases.
* Liaise with internal and external customers / contacts to ensure a smooth flow of information and work between the department, Head Office and other internal / external departments and contacts.
* Collate and manage a live tender document, logging enquiries, printing drawings to scale, contacting clients for additional information on tenders.
* Ensure effective and efficient processing of documents through company systems, working within set time frames.
* Send out and collate sub-contractor enquiries.
* Assist with data input of monthly figures onto spreadsheets / software.
* Produce monthy reports of job costs for assisting the financial reporting of jobs.
* Collate suppliers matrial quotes and delivery ticket information for the relevant tenders / jobs.

Key Skills:

* Experience of working in an administration / secretarial role.
* Intermediate level of proficiency with MS office programmes and a good standard of written English.
* Ability to generate professional correspondence unaided.
* Self discipline, with demonstratably good time management skills and the ability to manage a number of priorities.
* Ability to multi task, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
* Team player who is supportive of colleagues.
* Professional and pleasant manner in dealing with internal and external customers.


Package

* Full time 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
