Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with an international, well-established Media & Marketing conglomerate to support with the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager based in Central London. This is a 12-month contract role, to cover maternity and is paying £70,000.

With a plethora of household name clients, they are at the forefront of the industry. You will be working closely with the Commercial Director as part of a best-in-class finance team.

The Role

As Interim Commercial Finance Manager, you will:

Hold ownership of the agency P&L working with a variety of business units.
Support senior leadership with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Provide variance analysis in collaboration with the reporting team, and conduct profitability analysis.
Lead monthly revenue review meetings relevant stakeholders and business partners.
Prepare the monthly management information pack to include P&L performance vs budget.
Prepare new business proposals and assist with business case preparation.
Support the preparation of documentation for financial compliance audits.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, to include the ability to influence non-finance teams. Proven capability within a business partnering / commercial finance role.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial analysis into meaningful insight for non-finance teams.
Previous experience within media is preferred but not essential.
The salary of £70,000 per year represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
