Commercial Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Marketing Manager to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive commercial success and enhance brand visibility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead marketing efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our client’s organisation.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Wetherby. Salary is £50,000 plus excellent benefits including an early finish on Friday, company pension, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive commercial growth and achieve business objectives.
• Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
• Create a comprehensive strategic marketing plan.
• Manage the creation of marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the sales and buying team to refine and develop marketing processes.
• Work directly with the Managing Directors to develop new business ideas.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
• Oversee web development, public relations, and marketing events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in marketing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager demonstrating a track record of successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
• Experience within the food sector FMCG (desirable)
• Excellent IT skill proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• High standard of written and verbal communication
• Proactive, team player, confident and approachable
