Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London brough Council who are seeking a Property Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this.

ROLE: Property Lawyer
LOCATION: South East London
RATE: 45.00 to 50.00
CONTRACT: Initial 6 months with

Please note that this would require office attendance 1 day per week.

The Role of the Property Lawyer

• To manage a full caseload of property law matters through to completion
• Matters will include mainly landlord and tenant matters but with a wide variety of other commercial property and local government related property advice and transactions
• To assist more junior members of staff when required

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate
• Previous local authority and public sector experience would be required
• Managed full caseloads of commercial property matters through to completion
