Full Job Description

We're currently seeking a talented and hands-on Commercial Property Manager with vast knowledge of Retail Property Management. This is an in-house position, directly working for the principal, offering competitive compensation and an opportunity to make a significant impact.


Key information:

  • Based in Stanmore.
  • Salary is circa £60,000.00 per annum.
  • Working hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Other perks include an annual bonus, flexibility, and a parking space will be provided.
  • The role is to start ASAP.


Experience required :

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial property management, particularly in the retail sector.
  • MRICS or chartered surveyor qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Essential experience in commercial property and asset management.
  • In-depth knowledge of landlord and tenant relations.
  • Familiarity with commercial property leases, rent reviews, and service charge budgets.
  • Experience with TRAMPS management software (preferable but not required).


Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Property Manager:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties across the UK.
  • Regular liaison with clients, attending meetings as required.
  • Set up new clients and properties on management software.
  • Efficiently collect rents and chase arrears.
  • Oversee lease agreements, rent reviews, and lease re-gears, coordinating with legal and surveying professionals.
  • Address property management and maintenance issues promptly, liaising with contractors and tenants.
  • Support property acquisition activities, inputting purchases into management software.
  • Approve client bills and invoices, including vacant business rates and utility bills.
  • Conduct property inspections, with or without clients.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly rent statements and reports for clients.
  • Develop and manage service charge budgets and invoicing.
