Full Job Description

Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are working with an experienced company based in the brandesburton area our client are looking for experienced Commerical Controller.

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process
  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making
  • Pricing documents for projects
  • Final accounts reconciliation, to be settled within two months of completion of the project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Prior experience in financial project management
  • Microsoft office intermediate/advanced
  • Ability to understand drawings & building designs
  • Commercial experience + Industry knowledge and/or QS experience
