Description: This is an exciting time to join Stroud District Council’s Community Services Team as we take the next steps towards delivering our services in an asset-based community development way. This role will play a crucial part in providing project management, governance and quality assurance support to the Community Safety, Health & Wellbeing, Children and Young people and Environmental services teams which make up Community Services.About the roleIn this role you will work with internal colleagues, our communities, and key partners to support the delivery of our service and Council plan. You will be responsible for the delivery of our community alarm service “Careline”, line management of the community support team and responsible for the management of our CCTV contracts.Our service is a forward thinking, dedicated and community focused team and the team you’ll be joining work together to provide a wide range of services within our communities. You will play a significant role in the roll of out of the digital switch over for our 1300 “Careline” customers by December 2025. You will be the council’s lead officer for Solace and will work as part of a multi-agency team who work together with communities to prevent, investigate and tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB).About youYou’ll have experience of working in an environment that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and will be passionate and enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service whilst working under pressure.
