JustOT are looking to recruit a Community Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.The pay for this position is £35 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, innovative Occupational Therapists to join our service to complete assessments for adaptations and Moving & Handling . You will have strong experience in housing , adaptations and Prescribing specialist equipment make necessary and appropriate recommendations to the Home Improvement Agency, as well as meeting needs as required, for example through provision of equipment. You will have technical knowledge of adaptations, and be able to review plans to ensure that they will meet requirements and meet the needs of the person.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to work in partnership with residents, their families, and other professionals. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in social care and housing, fostering good relationships.As a registered Occupational Therapist with experience in social care, you will be working across the borough completing assessments. You will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team of Social Workers and Assessment Officers.

You will also work closely with the other teams and partners to ensure that assessment and recommendations are robust and fully meet the needs of our residents. You will have sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Housing Act and the principles of safeguarding. You will report to the Assistant Team Manager Occupational Therapist and receive monthly supervision and guidance, as well as informal support.Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.When you work with JustOT, you will have access to a range of benefits that will support you in your role.
