Full Job Description

Location: Great Wakering

Salary: £12.00 Weekends

Shift Patterns: Saturday 07.00-14.30 & 14.30 - 22pm, 15 hours per week, Permanent

You will be required to have a full UK driving licence and able to drive our client's manual car

This post is only open to female staff only as it involves personal care; Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part I).

We are a Supported Living provider looking after a client who lives in their own home with their sibling. Our client is non-verbal, autistic, has severe learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour.

This is a lovely role where reassurance, continuity and consistency are vital to their daily routine, where you will be able to make a real difference. Your role as Support Worker will involve one-to-one support for personal care, preparing food, drinks and medication.

You will need a Full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive our client’s manual car to support our client to attend day centres that they visit several times a week, access the community and go for long drives.

If you are an experienced Support Worker who is committed, caring and enthusiastic then this role is made for you.

You will need some experience …

To apply for this role, you will need to have 1 year's previous UK experience in the care sector, supporting individual(s) with Autism, severe learning disabilities, complex needs, challenging behaviour and experience with non-verbal clients

PMVA trained staff preferred but not essential. A Full UK driving license is essential for this role
