Full Job Description
In addition to the salary, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to earn overtime and uplifts for overnight stays – up to £65,000.Although based at the client office in Staffordshire, the CompEx Electrician role will be split between the workshop in Stone for build, and customer sites.
Key Duties on client and customer site :
* Follow engineering schematics to install electrical components into kiosks
* Prepare build items for test
* Conduct installation work under supervision on client sites
* Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation and company standards
* Inspection of work to ensure compliance with regulations
Extra Responsibilities:
* Ensure your on-going training to broaden knowledge and skill sets.
* Other tasks as required by the Supervisor
Key skills and experience required:
* High level of experience in either electrical installation within an engineering-based company.
* Compex EX01 – 04
* Relevant City and Guilds qualification (18thedition, Inspection and Test, Mechanical pipefitting etc)
* Clean driving licence and own transport
* NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation
* Flexibility to travel and stay over throughout the UK while working on client sites.
* Attention to detail and ability to work alone and also in a team.
Full driving licence and own transport required due to office location.
The role involves travel throughout the UK, and 2-4 overnight stays per week (expenses paid)
Hours of work: 8.00am – 4.30pm (with flexibility to suit the client needs)
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
