Are you an experienced Hazardous Area Electrician looking for a well-paid and progressive opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Hazardous Area Electrician to join a welcoming electrical contracting business, based inn the UK. As a Hazardous Area Electrician, you will receive a generous basic salary up to £47,000, overtime, 30 days holiday, pension, company vehicle, fuel card, working from home allowance (meals and accommodation allowance) , career progression and many other benefits.
As a Hazardous Area Electrician, your role will include:
- Carrying out new customer installations (LPG Fork-Lift Truck/LNG, Biomethane/Vaporiser installations) nationwide.
- Carrying out/certificating annual electrical inspections of existing customer installations and remedial works where required.
- Attending equipment breakdowns - nationally
- Assembling/building of control panels/skid units.
We are keen to speak with Hazardous Area Electricians that have the following knowledge/skills and experience:
- Approved Electrician status (time served) with electrical qualifications including Inspection and Testing – 2391, 2394 or 2395 and 18th Edition.
- Experience working as a Hazardous Area Electrician
- COMPEX Modules EX01 – EX04 minimum
- CCSNG Safety passport/JIB safety passport/SPA – Safety Passport
- Working knowledge of Exd, Exe systems
- A willingness to keep up CPD
- Full, clean, driving licence
- Working away required
- 45 hours per week plus overtime.
The package for Hazardous Area Electricians includes:
- A competitive basic salary up to £47,000
