Compliance Officer (Gas and Water Hygiene) Job IntroductionWith over 9000 homes in our borough, we are proud of our 99.98% gas safety compliance rate – but we can always do better. Main ResponsibilitiesAs our Compliance Officer (Gas and Water Hygiene), you will take a lead role in managing all aspects of Gas and Water Hygiene work, taking the lead on managing our ongoing programme of upgrades of our boiler replacement programme.
Managing a range of contractors, you will oversee small, medium and large scale projects putting the customer’s needs at the heart of all of your projects. Health and Safety must be in the forefront of what you do. Equally, you will ensure policies are adhered to throughout the service and have experience of producing and interpreting KPI's to drive continuous improvements across the contracts.
The Ideal CandidateIt is essential you have relevant technical knowledge and experience of managing operational contracts. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strategic approach to work and the skills to introduce new ideas and working practices.
You will need a strategic mind-set, excellent budgetary control experience but most of all the desire to drive improvements, ensure continued high levels of contractor performance and to deliver the values and behaviours set out by the council.

Starting salary £39,382pa with potential progression to £42,383pa inclusive on achieving designated skills and experience
37 hours per week (hybrid working)
