Role Summary

The Compliance Officer will join a small team responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing financial crime within the bank. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain extensive knowledge and experience in compliance within an international banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of Compliance/MLRO in identifying regulatory risks faced by the Branch.
• Assist in designing and implementing policies, procedures, systems, and controls to mitigate compliance and financial crime risks.
• Monitor the effectiveness of compliance systems and controls.
• Provide training and guidance to management and employees on compliance matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Compliance/MLRO.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in law, business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role within banking or financial services is preferred.
• Strong team-working skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and intercultural skills.
