Full Job Description

Activus Recruitment are sourcing highly skilled Concrete Finishers on behalf of our client, an established Civils and Construction firm who have been successfully delivering construction services throughout the UK over the last thirty years.

The successful candidates will have experience specialising in the finishing of large concrete slabs and proficient in a variety of finishing techniques. You will be adept at using power floats, hand floats, and executing brushed finishes to ensure high-quality, durable concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate power floats to achieve smooth finishes on large concrete slabs.
• Utilise hand floats for smaller areas or where precision finishing is required.
• Apply brushed finishes to concrete surfaces as specified in project requirements.
• Accurately install control and expansion joints to prevent cracking.
• Use sealants and hardeners to cure and protect concrete surfaces.
• Ensure that all finishing work is completed to the highest standard, meets project specifications, and adheres to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in finishing large concrete floors, including proficiency with power floats, hand floats, and brushed finishes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• CSCS card required to demonstrate qualification and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to adhere to all health and safety guidelines on-site.
• Must be willing to travel
• Driving licence.

Squads of 2-3 required (preferably).

Location: Various sites across Scotland.

Rates: Competitive

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent.
