The Firm

I'm currently working closely with a US Headquartered global law firm in London, who are seeking a Conflicts & Ethics Lawyer or Specialist to join them in their London office.

The firm offers hybrid flexible working and an extremely competitive salary.

Responsibilities

You will be working closely with the Associate Director of New Business Intake and a team of Conflicts & Ethics Attorneys,

You will review the firm’s new business intake forms, including conflict reports and engagement terms to identify and resolve business and ethical conflicts to ensure compliance with Firm policies before matter opening.

You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing waiver letters, engagement letters, and liaising with lawyers and staff to address any necessary changes or additional information required before the firm can proceed with the new business.

What do you need?

You must possess a law degree and have experience in legal practice post-law school or an active law license

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, as well as a working knowledge of professional conduct regulations are essential.

Responsiveness, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with adaptability to shifting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing heavy workloads are also crucial.
