Control & Instrumentation Engineer
Norfolk, Norwich
Salary up to 65,000 per annum, call out
allowance and bonus
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Cooper Lomaz are working with an established
manufacturing company based in Norfolk. This company is seeking a
Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join their
team.
As the C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for
designing, developing and modifying control systems, specifically,
SIMATIC PCS 7 distributed control systems.
You will need an understanding of operational processes as the
role is multi-disciplinary, working closely with colleagues across
several functions including engineering, operations and
purchasing.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new control systems.
- Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems.
- Produce new code and be able to modify existing PLC/SCADA programmes.
- Implementing continuous
improvement programme to maintain and increase production.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Be qualified to HNC, HND or hold a degree in Control Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Have sound knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.
- Experience of industrial software & hardware cabinet building and loop design.
- Working with and understanding applicable legislations such as HaSaWA, COMAH, DSEAR or CompEx.
The Package:
The salary on offer is up to 65k per annum plus an additional call out
allowance. You will be entered into the company bonus scheme.
