The customer base is broad with industries such as marine, power, rail and so is the skill set needed for this Colchester based role (with the potential of overseas and UK travel if needed - travel expense covered).

Responsibilities of the Control System Design Engineer role:

• On site commissioning of industrial automation control & safety systems
• Designing/Testing/validation of software and hardware systems
• Writing and developing code
• PLC Programming - minimum Allan Bradley
• Designing SCADA systems and HMI's
• Developing detailed layouts, wiring schematics, mechanical design for safety/control systems using AutoCAD
• Project participation - liaising with all stakeholder parties

Requirements to match the role:

• Systems, software, and hardware development experience
• PLC programming
• AutoCAD (must have)
• SCADA/PLC system including safety development and design
• Qualification in automation, control, electronics, or electrical engineering
