Cook / Chef- Care Home

Salary: £13.19 ph- (Plus paid breaks!!)
Hours:8am-5pm
31.5 hours per week
3 on 3 off shift basis
28 days holiday

Job Description

A vital part of the care home team, the Cook will help to plan and prepare a variety of meals which are appealing, nutritious and centred around our residents’ preferences, requests and dietary requirements. You will work with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and share our ethos of creating an ambient dining experience at every mealtime helping to create a great place to live for residents.

This role could be for you if have:

• Previous experience in a Care home environment
• Level 2 Kitchen Qualification / Working towards
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
