Full Job Description

Pacific International is retained on the search for a Country Manager, to lead the United Kingdom & Ireland region for our client, a global renewable energy distribution business.

Founded in recent years, our client has quickly established itself as a leading distributor in the PV industry, serving hundreds of clients across numerous countries each month. Their distribution network includes several logistics hubs across Europe, partnering with leading, established manufacturers in the sector. The rapid growth highlights their global aspirations, with ongoing expansions into new international markets.

Our client is searching for a dynamic Country Manager for the UK & Ireland to lead the regional team towards the expansion of market share. This role includes direct Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility, team leadership, strategic planning, and business development. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will drive the strategic development of sales & business growth in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead market development in the UK & Ireland, identifying new business opportunities from existing and new relationships.
  • Oversee sales operations, ensuring sales targets are met, and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with international sales teams.
  • Participate in strategic planning for regional expansion.
  • Build and motivate a high-performing sales and support team.
  • Build on key client and partner relationships, including direct engagement and attendance at industry events.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a management role within Renewable Energy or related sectors.
  • Permanent residency in the United Kingdom, with a willingness to travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of PV systems and related technology is beneficial.
  • Experience managing a company / business unit’s P&L.
