Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Cover Supervisor to join our school and manage their classrooms. Our Cover Supervisors take responsibility for the behaviour and safety of our students, and play an important role in delivering effective learning experiences. • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the students in their care.
• Supervising classrooms, taking responsibility for the behaviour, safety and learning of the students.
• Completing registers.
• Helping teachers to prepare teaching materials and activities.
• Providing feedback on student performance.
• Assisting with classroom management.
• Ensuring the students are on-task and participating in activities.
• Providing support to teachers in managing the classroom environment.
• Helping to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of teaching plans.
• Providing support for students with special needs.
• Ensuring that equipment and materials are in good condition.
• Intervening in disciplinary issues and reporting any concerns to the Head Teacher.
• Undertaking additional duties as requested by the school.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Previous experience working in a classroom environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in behaviour management.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with the UK school curriculum.
