Full Job Description

We are seeking a creative director who can lead a team of innovative individuals, bringing a blend of marketing expertise and business acumen to advance our company. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design and the ability to inspire dynamic ideas that resonate with diverse audiences. Shortlisted candidates will be required to relocate to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and be full-time on-site.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Led and oversaw the production of web, print, and digital marketing collateral by the creative team.
  • spearheaded and managed content strategy for projects of varying scales, integrating strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology.
  • Collaborate with the marketing departments to develop marketing plans, analyze results, and identify opportunities.
  • Develop internal marketing campaigns that effectively translate marketing objectives into clear and motivating creative strategies across business units.
  • Analyze brand tracking, market trends, consumer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Manage expenses by forecasting and maintaining budget standards.


Daily and monthly responsibilities:


  • Supervise a diverse team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers and videographers, and project managers in strategically developing messages and deliverables.
  • Prioritize work and resources based on short- and long-term needs, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production departments to establish production schedules.
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with the creative team to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Review and approve art and copy developed by the team to ensure deliverables effectively address marketing goals and challenges.
  • Produce fresh, innovative work that effectively communicates complex ideas to visually sophisticated audiences through compelling print materials and digital experiences.
  • Present or oversee the presentation of final concepts and obtain approvals for deliverables.


Skills and qualifications:


  • 10 years of related experience with at least 7 years in a creative direction role within the cosmetics industry.
  • extensive experience in creating marketing and advertising campaigns, from developing vision and messaging platforms to overseeing production within set timelines and budgets.
  • Experience in building digital-first campaigns, keeping in mind analytic measurement (CTR, ROAS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in creating integrated content across various marketing channels, including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
  • proven experience with concept development and a strong ability to lead a team of creative talent with a clear understanding of business objectives.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, fine art, design, or a relevant field; a master's degree will be considered an asset. Prior experience with copywriting, design, or production is also preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
