SF Recruitment have partnered with a brilliant business based in
Alfreton who are looking for a Credit Manager to join the department.
You will join a small and friendly team, working in an exciting role.
This position requires a highly-motivated individual with
extensive knowledge and experience of legal credit control processes
and the ability to balance risk with commercial opportunities. It is
expected that the Credit Control Manager will guide, coach and develop
a small team to ensure the smooth running of this results-orientated
department.
Responsibilities of the Credit Manager:
- Set up and review the Company's credit control processes

Support the business in consolidating its businesses
- Continue to
enhance credit control processes
- Review the suitability of the
offer of payment plans
- Prepare and review Credit Control KPI
metrics on a monthly basis
- Review the suitability and level of
credit limits on an ongoing basis
- Serve as contact for client
prospects
- Overseeing the timely allocation of receipts in
settlement of invoices
- Forecasting of short and medium term cash
collection
- Lead and develop the credit control team
- Act as
an experienced manager across the business in supporting staff and
customers alike
Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum 3 years' experience in managing a Credit Control team in a
medium sized business with a broad customer base
- Sound business
judgement with the ability to measure commercial opportunity against
risk
- The ability to define and continually improve
administration processes
- Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
- Experience working on ERP systems
