Full Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for customer invoicing, credit control, and project administration?

We're seeking a motivated individual to join our client in South Manchester as a Credit Controller. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing customer invoices, managing collections, setting up projects, and providing essential administrative support. This will be joining a small but supportive team and you will be looking after all credit control for the UK entity of the business.

Key Duties: 
  
  • Prepare customer invoices according to Project Manager instructions.
  • Review outstanding project milestones weekly to ensure accurate billing dates.
  • Forecast monthly invoicing for board submission.
  • Review outstanding support invoicing and provide feedback to Management Accountant.
  • Chase customer payments promptly.
  • Liaise with finance team on payment allocation and withholding tax.
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Finance Director/UK Operations Manager to address issues.
  • Follow escalation procedures when necessary
  
We are looking to speak to candidates who have a strong background in credit control and accounts receivable, excellent communication skills with an eye for detail. You must be able to build and maintain relationships with ease and be able to work well as part of a wider team.
