About The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Crypto Research Writer/Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and data analysis, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency industry.

This role involves conducting detailed research and analysis of market trends, financial data, blockchain projects, and regulatory changes to produce industry reports, thought leadership content, and investment recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Regularly analyze the cryptocurrency market using diverse data sources (internal data, public blockchain data, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Data Analysis: Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform detailed insights and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Content Creation: Write institutional-grade research reports and high-quality articles (including technical analysis, project evaluations, market summaries, and investment theses) on various aspects of the crypto industry, such as DeFi, Web3, NFT and L0/L1/L2.
• Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership content that positions the company as a subject matter expert in the crypto space.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and analytics teams to disseminate research findings through various channels, as well as liaise with external research partners including media, consulting firms, and academia.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments, technologies, and regulatory changes in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.

Qualifications:

• Work Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, research writing, or a related field, with a proven track record in the cryptocurrency industry.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and financial principles. Experience with investing in cryptocurrencies preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of audiences.
• Tools: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel), blockchain analytics platforms, and basic data visualization generation (e.g., bar chart, column chart, pie chart).
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings effectively to a non-technical audience.
