Life on the team 
Placed with our Group Information Assurance Function within Computacenter we are now looking for a Customer Information Assurance Security Manager. 


Our Group Information Assurance function is responsible for the security management of Computacenter’s information assets and those of our Managed Service customers.

What you’ll do


You will provide a single point of contact for all aspects of operational security for internal and external stakeholders; develop Computacenter’s understanding of operational security; facilitate the achievement of customer requirements for information security by providing fit for purpose services & solutions including those provided by Computacenter partners & subsidiaries; develop appropriate & effective operational security service lines and all the related information collateral to drive opportunities with customers into live service delivery.

  • Continually review the security management processes in your area and seek to improve within the group function.
  • Drive the liaison with the wider internal delivery units to ensure that information security principles are progressively embedded in day-to-day operation.
  • Provide expertise to colleagues and customers in Information Security and other IT functions on matters such as applicable policies, standards, procedures and guidelines, efficient use of tools and technologies.
  • Chair security working group meetings, advising customer and ISPs of security risk and current security posture.
  • Utilise knowledge of the customer and Computacenter’s own service catalogue, to offer additional services and add value where possible, liaising with the pre-sale’s community where necessary.
  • Provide support to security managers, customer stakeholders and internal delivery units in any escalations or security incidents.
  • Additionally, you will review requirements coming in from customer requests relating to Information Security capability for delivery of Managed Services and continually evaluate against what we are delivering today, offering guidance and advice on improvements, 

What you’ll need

  • Experience of working with Information Security Management Systems and information security governance
  • Information Security generalist: understanding of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001/2, PCI DSS, etc. and their application in diverse environments, experience in the application of the design of solutions for security operations from a people, process, and technology perspective.
  • Experience in working within large, complex client organisations. 
  • Experienced in Key client and stakeholder engagement, ensuring stakeholder buy in
  • Ability to drive adoption of strategic initiatives and implement change.
  • Experience in improving and streamlining business processes and procedures.
  • Be a champion in ensuring delivery of services to an exceptional standard.
  • Can interpret technical information and be able to relay this in an understandable manner.
  • Willingness to self-development of own knowledge according to market, customer and CC requirements
  • Outstanding written and spoken communicative abilities; presentation and moderation skills; professional and convincing manner of appearance and expression; clear, targeted communication (verbal and written)
  • Good decision-making skills. Influence and persuasion skills
  • High degree of independence, organisational skills, and time management
  • Knowledge of ITIL Foundation or ISO20000
  • Knowledge of legislative & regulatory requirements including GDPR and PCI-DSS
  • Ability to attain relevant security clearance.
