Full Job Description
Do you want to be part of an awesome team that’s helping Britain
achieve Net Zero and saving customers cash and carbon along the way?
Join EDF today as a Customer Service Advisor (although we call them
Energy Specialists because they really know their stuff).
There’s never been a more exciting time to join our Retail
business! Our teams are growing and we want to welcome lots more
people into our EDF family.
We put people at the heart of
everything we do. And this is your chance to join a company that truly
cares about its people – you’re a human and we treat you like one!
Don’t believe us? Just ask our people as 80% of them think that we’re
a great place to work.
Here are some of the nice things they’ve
said about us:
“It is an honour to work here and be part of
such a great group of people! I appreciate all that the company &
managers do. It is a pleasure to work for such a wonderful company,
with wonderful leadership. I'm so happy to be here and absolutely
love the people I work with” Energy Specialist
“I have only been here a short amount of time however I really feel at home working here”. Energy Specialist
“Working here is great, coming from a different career working for a place like this is very refreshing. It’s great to be working in a great team and part of a great family here.” Energy Specialist
As an
Energy Specialist, you’ll be working in a team of 10-15 people
providing incredible end-to-end customer service with our Residential
or Small Business team. You’ll connect with our customers over the
phone and through digital channels such as text and email. We’ll train
you in everything our customers need, so when it’s go-time, you’ll
have all the answers and nothing will faze you. So, if you’re an
enthusiastic team player who’s resilient, loves problem solving with a
curious nature and enjoys working under pressure, then we’d love to
hear from you!
You don’t need to have worked in
customer service before – we’ve got your back and will provide a
fully immersive training experience. So, whether you’re looking to
change your career (after all, it’s never too late), work part-time to
give a great balance to your personal life, or simply aren’t sure what
path to take after leaving education, maybe it’s time to give customer
service a go!
We embrace hybrid working in our Retail
business. Our offices are fun and welcoming and we can’t wait for you
to check them out as there really is something for everyone. We also
know that you may need the flexibility to work from home at times too.
There’s lots to get involved in outside of the day job as well,
including our 9-employee networks (e.g., Working Parents, RACE,
Disability & Carers) and amazing resources to help you thrive at work
and home.
Alongside a salary starting from £24,635, 3% bonus
and a market-leading pension scheme, we offer best-in class benefits
and wellbeing resources. Your rewards package includes a choice of
benefits, such as electric vehicle leasing, enhanced parental leave,
health insurance, discounts and cashback on your favourite brands, and
much more.
We're open to all range of contracts,
full-time, part-time, 3 to 6 month opportunities, whatever works for
you!
At EDF, everyone’s welcome. We strive to create an
inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where
you feel confident being yourself. We’re committed to equality,
diversity and inclusion. We’d like our future workforce to have an
equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority
ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting
social mobility.
We’re a disability confident employer
and we’ll do all we can to help with your application, making
adjustments as you need.
We want to continue building our
brilliantly inclusive culture and celebrating what makes our people
wonderfully diverse and unique - we’ll value the difference you bring
and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.
