Davies are looking to recruit for our DMU (Repair Management Team) team in Colchester. Previous claims handling experience is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided. We are looking for people with a confident telephone manner who are used to a busy working environment, have great attention to detail and focus on delivering excellent customer service.

What will your day look like:

  • Monitoring the progress of a claim
  • Reviewing third party damages (both vehicle and property)
  • Validating claims against policy information to ensure Indemnity verified
  • Applying accurate reserves based on the facts presented in the incident for own damage and third Party in accordance with the reserving criteria
  • Maintaining a claims allocation
  • Managing diary and post allocations

Abilities And Knowledge:

  • Negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Experience in a similar fast paced working environment
  • Proactive attitude and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong administration, numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
  • Composing professional and informative letters and other written correspondence
